Meet the Founder

Daryl Lewis
Founder & Principal, Lewis Solutions Group

Daryl Lewis is a transformational executive and strategist with over 20 years of experience leading high-stakes enterprise and technology programs across defense, federal, and enterprise environments. Before founding Lewis Solutions Group, Daryl served as the Deputy Project Manager for the U.S. Army’s Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) program—one of the largest BCAT I portfolios in the Department of Defense. He oversaw a $300M annual budget and led more than 370 personnel across seven IT product offices focused on modernizing and unifying Army business systems.

 

He later spearheaded the creation of an Agile Management Organization (AMO) to consolidate three large ERP PMO organizations, streamline operations, and implement DevSecOps practices across the Army’s enterprise portfolio.  In addition, Daryl led complex transformation initiatives at the enterprise level — including major ERP overhauls, strategic management implementation, and digital adoption strategies. He also drove accelerated acquisition program initiatives and launched data-driven metric initiatives to improve visibility, speed, and accountability across portfolios.

 

His track record spans recovery of troubled programs, executive leadership alignment, human capital initiatives, and building a culture of delivery in high-pressure environments. Known for his clarity, focus, and motivation for action, Daryl partners with organizations seeking to move from traditional planning to operationalized strategy.

 

Daryl holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Morgan State University and MBA/MS degrees from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Engineering with a concentration on Digital Transformation from Penn State University. He also holds executive certificates from Wharton, Georgetown, and UC Berkeley in digital strategy, innovation, and organizational leadership.
